ABOUT BILLY
Billy Bryant, founder and owner of Bryant Power Solutions (BPS), is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in electrical systems maintenance and testing. A proud graduate of Hill-McCloy High School in Montrose, Michigan, Billy also served honorably in the U.S. Army as a 19D Cavalry Scout. Following his military service, he transitioned into the electrical field and built a distinguished career marked by technical expertise, leadership, and innovation.
Billy began his professional journey as a shop breaker repair technician for Square D. Demonstrating exceptional skill and determination, he quickly advanced to field operations, where he spent nearly seven years mastering switchgear maintenance, upgrades, retrofills, custom bussing, testing, and crew leadership. His hands-on experience provided the foundation for a successful career in engineering services.
In 2004, Billy joined ASCO Services as a Senior Engineering Services Representative. Over the next decade, he honed his expertise in automatic transfer switch and paralleling switchgear maintenance, upgrades, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning, training, and emergency services across the Midwest. By 2014, Billy transitioned into a sales role as an Account Representative for ASCO Services. He excelled in this position, consistently exceeding sales quotas by 20% or more and expanding the company’s contract base across a six-state region.
Billy’s passion for customer relationships and his technical background led him to Senior Account Manager roles with independent switchgear testing companies, where he worked closely with clients in healthcare, manufacturing, education, municipalities, and utilities. Recognizing the value of his extensive industry knowledge, Billy launched Bryant Power Solutions in 2021. As a veteran-owned and operated consulting firm, BPS is dedicated to helping facility owners and managers optimize the maintenance and operation of their electrical systems.
Beyond his professional achievements, Billy cherishes his family life. Married to his high school sweetheart Chevonne since 1996, they have raised two children, Mason and Avery. Despite a demanding career, Billy made time to coach wrestling and travel baseball, instilling the same values of hard work and dedication in the next generation.
